Morlak or Morvlach or Maurovlachos - Vlachs who migrated from Transilvania into Moravia, along the Carpathian range between the 14th and 17th centuries. They wear the same outfits and the traditional Vlach/Romanian culture remained the same despite the evolution in language, especially the traditions regarding sheepherding and rural architecture. The Vlachs in Moravia rose in a rebellion during the 30 years war and had to be supressed by Wallenstein's troops with heavy losses.
