Refugees evicted | 23:02 February 05 | B92
NOVA PAZOVA -- Saturday – Dozens of refugees from Knin have been evicted from a collective centre in Nova Pazova into the snow and temperatures of about minus nine degrees.

The Commissariat for Refugees cut power and water to the centre and threw the residents out into the freezing streets, B92 learnt.

There has been no response from the local authorities, a coalition of Radicals, Socialists and Vojislav Kostunica’s Democratic Party of Serbia.

The Planum building has been used as a collective centre since the refugees fled Croatia in 1995.

There are at present about fifty homeless refugees sheltering in the centre’s courtyard.
